With over 25 years of experience in IT leadership, Shawn transitioned into multifamily real estate investment and management. As the Managing Member of CASA REI Group, Shawn specializes in acquisitions and asset management of Class B and C properties. He holds designations as an Independent Rental Owner Professional (IROP) and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) from the National Apartment Association. Shawn is actively involved with the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas (AAGD), Texas Apartment Association (TAA), and National Apartment Association (NAA). His military background includes service in the US Marine Corps Reserves, where he achieved the rank of Corporal and received an honorable discharge.

With over 20 years of accounting experience, Amanda Powers brings a valuable perspective to the team. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Science in Taxation from Texas A&M University – Mays Business School. Amanda’s expertise in accounting, financial analysis, and income tax has established her as a respected professional in her field.
